Calm yourself. It doesn't matter. Stop over-thinking it.

I've noticed that the people around me, myself included, tend to over-analyze and over-think their actions. Personally, I know I've struggled with this a vast amount of times. I over-considered other peoples' opinions, which kept me from truly being myself in certain situations. A minor, common example of this would be always needing a friend to go up with you to a school lunch line. I mean seriously I could not walk 20 feet away from my friends alone without feeling uncomfortable and judged. It shouldn't be that stressful to go buy food. Sometimes it would keep me and friends from getting our greasy fries and sugary cake, making it a double negative, because I LOVE cake. Its as if I lived in a fear of peoples' denial. But in reality, little situations like this we all freak out about WONT EVEN MATTER IN THE LONG RUN. I know, especially in high school, a lot of people struggle with this because we just all want to fit in and be liked. But we will lose who we are and what makes us happy if we let other people define who we are.

Fix it: Think about the situation your in. It may seem like the most important thing in the world. But will it truly apply to you in a week? month? year? 5 years? If you can answer no to any of those questions, you should not take your situation so seriously because it wont matter in the long run. I mean, when we are like 30, is it really going to matter that you had to go by yourself to the lunch line or had an awkward encounter with someone you wanted to impress?! Nah. It really won't matter. This applies with all the other pieces of drama you may be experiencing in school now. I know this sounds cheesy and lame but just take a deep breath and think about what matters to you, not other people.

Stay Awesome.
